INTERNATIONAL WATERCOLOUR MASTERS GRAND SHOW starting 15th May 2024
This 15th of May 2024, will once more reunite International Grandmasters of the Watercolour in UK.
No Acrylic or other mediums, the real Watercolour, one of the most difficult medium to master.
The show includes, not only hanging paintings but also demos from grand artists, known around the World.
For the first time, it will be televised! a new addition to David Poxon's grand shows.
It means if the fans cannot travel as far as Shropshire in UK, they have the chance to view from their armchairs around the World, the entire show, demos, interviews and much more.
So who is David Poxon?
David is an international master of Watercolour. Belonging to RI, the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, and Watercolour American Watercolour Society. David has exhibited around the World, made demos, written books and so much more...
Along his love for Watercolour, David was in his earlier years, Band Manager for Heavy metal band Saxon and other bands. He organised their travelling and shows around the World. He was much in demand in Glastonbury and other festivals.
Having settled for his love of Art in watercolour, he decided to put his knowledge as show manager to present grand show in UK, for artists dedicated to Watercolour.
Each show takes 2 years of preparation! This year, will not disappoint with many new artists, workshops and to top it all, TV show!
I personally cannot attend the venue but will enjoy seeing all demos, all artists that I already know personally.
Thank you David Poxon for enriching our World and genuinely giving all your time, passion, energy to create the only grand show of Watercolour in our country.
NEW WATERCOLOUR ON THE GO
PUBLISHED IN ART MAGAZINE
In August 2023, I had the great honour to be requested to create a painting with all explanations, plus answering quite a few questions.
In October I submitted the work. It staid dormant in my files.
Yesterday 19th February, I received a phone call from India informing that the magazine was out.
As you can imagine, I have been eager to find out what the article looked like.
The creator, Editor and all the team, has launched a Paper magazine which is rare these days. I will receive it probably in April or more. (60 pages and heavy)
However, Rashmi Soni, creator of Opus, sent me a PDF file and so I can sh
ow on my website my interview and demo
Thank you so much Rashmi and Puja and all the editorial team for this wonderful article.
I hope to have a link to share to be able to show all the beautiful works created by other women artists.
